If we are talking about the Kinsella book, then I would say the author treated Jackson very well. I think Kinsella approached the story of Joe Jackson with kindess and portrayed a certain sadness with Joe's plight stemming from the Black Sox scandal. I believe that Kinsella was sympathetic to Joe's situation, as I am.
Well....it has been many years since we last picked up and read that book.....but nothing sticks our in our minds that would say Joe was portrayed badly in the book.....but again....it has been many years since we read the book....guess we need to re-read the book just to make sure.........
